1. General

    Nanso Group Oy is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. We handle your data responsibly and want to be worthy of your trust. You yourself can influence how and to what extent your data is processed. In this data protection statement, we tell you about your rights to your own personal data and how you can use your rights.

    4. Why and how we collect information about you

    We want to create better and better services for our customers. The personal information collected about you helps us understand our customers better and develop our services.     When processing your personal data, we always try to ensure that the processing of your personal data is factually justified and necessary in relation to the purposes of use.

    5. What information can we collect about you?

    The use of certain services, such as participating in a campaign, processing a complaint or buying products or services from an online service, requires the provision of personal information. If you decide not to provide us with your personal information, we may not be able to offer you all offers or content or provide you with the same targeted and personal service as if we had access to your information.

    Information provided by the user himself or information that identifies the person

    5.1.1. In the online store:

    • Identification information, such as name, online store username and password when registering
    • Address, email address and phone number for order delivery
    • Information about marketing permits and prohibitions
    • In order to process your payment, we collect the necessary information to pay for your purchases. We collect, among other things, information about the payment method you use and invoicing information, if you order our products by choosing an invoice as the payment method.
    • When you choose a Klarna invoice as the payment method, the personal identification number is asked to identify the customer when entering into a credit agreement. Asking for a personal ID takes place in Klarna's system, the information is not saved in Nanso's system.

    • Information about browser version, device type and IP address. We can also collect information about your page downloads, time spent in online services and movement in online services.

    We collect information about the use of our online services using cookies, for example.     7. Where do we get your personal data from?

    The main source of personal data is your own notification or purchase and transaction data in the Nanso.com online store or in our store. We also obtain personal data by observing and analyzing the use of the service as described in sections 5 and 6. In addition to this, we may receive personal information from our partners and authorities, such as the Population Register's update service and Suomen Asiakastieto Oy's credit information register.

    8. Who processes my data?

    Only designated Nanso Group employees can access personal data and they are bound by a duty of confidentiality. Access to personal data is only granted when it is necessary for the performance of work tasks.

    We use trusted contractual partners, in which case information can be transferred to a third party. The agreements with all partners take into account the requirements set by the EU data protection regulation and other legislation.

    9. How is my data stored and protected?

    Your personal data is stored electronically and appropriately protected from outsiders by physical locking, firewalls, passwords and other technical protection measures.

    10. How long will my data be stored?

    We only keep your personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes of use described in this statement and to fulfill the obligations set by law, such as accounting and consumer trade responsibilities, and to demonstrate their proper implementation.

    11. Will my personal data be transferred to third parties?

    12. Data transfer outside the EU/ETA

    The service provider of the Nanso.com e-commerce platform is located in Canada, and in connection with its data processing, data may also be transferred to the United States. Therefore, when you shop in our online store, your data can be transferred to the United States and Canada to enable your online shopping.

    According to the decision of the EU Commission, the level of data protection in Canada is sufficient, which secures the transfer of personal data to Canada. If we transfer your data to the United States or other countries outside the EEA, the legality of the data transfer is ensured by contractual means (e.g. using model clauses approved by the European Commission) or by other methods approved by data protection legislation (such as based on decisions on the adequacy of data protection).

    Please note that if the processing of your personal data is necessary, for example, to deliver your online store order, we cannot delete your data.

    At any time, you have the right to prohibit the processing of your data for direct marketing (right to object). The refusal can be done directly from our newsletter or by contacting our customer service. Please note that despite the ban on direct marketing, you can still see our ads on online services outside of Nanso and still receive customer communications from us, such as the order confirmation regarding the order you placed in the online store.
