General Washing Instructions
To ensure a long service life of the garment, the products should always be washed at the temperature indicated for them. Each of our products has a washing tag, where you can easily check the recommended washing instructions with temperatures. Sometimes we wash almost clean clothes just to make them feel fresh. Instead of washing frequently, you should try airing your clothes in the fresh air or hanging them in a damp bathroom. Often, just airing is enough to refresh the garment.
Care instructions for materials
Important features of Nanso products are comfort and ease of maintenance. We always choose the material that best suits the purpose, so that we can design high-quality, functional, beautiful and long-lasting products.
Leotard
As a general guideline, we recommend washing the tricot product inside out and using a detergent that does not contain bleach. We do not recommend soaking or temperatures higher than recommended for printed products, as these may cause the colors to spread to the light areas of the product. The products should be washed in as little water as possible to keep the colors even. It is not recommended to use fabric softener for products containing elastane, as it weakens the elastane fiber.
Careful drum drying is permitted for some tricot products. However, drum drying consumes a lot of energy and the surface of the product. Drying with a line or rack is also a better option for the environment.
Elastane
For products containing a lot of elastane, it is not recommended to use fabric softener, as it weakens the elastane fiber. If there is only a few percent of elastane in the fabric and the product feels electric, you can still use fabric softener carefully.
Villa
To care for a woolen sweater, it is often sufficient to ventilate in the fresh air, but if the product needs washing, please always follow the product's care instructions. Even one wash in too hot water may shrink the woolen sweater to the point of being unusable or pucker its surface.
Knitwear that requires hand washing should be washed in lukewarm water with gentle squeezing. Before putting the sweater in the water, make sure that the detergent is well dissolved. Do not rub too much so that the product does not feel. The washed sweater is rinsed several times in cold water, carefully cut to size and dried horizontally at room temperature.

Turn the linen garment inside out before washing and choose a liquid detergent as the detergent. Wash the garment with clothes of the same color, and fill the washing machine only halfway. By washing linen clothes in lukewarm water, you avoid excessive wrinkling. Choose a gentle spin and a temperature of 40 degrees for the washing program. The use of fabric softener is not recommended when washing, as it can reduce the absorbency of the fibers.
Straighten the garment to its dimensions immediately after washing and flat dry. Linen does not necessarily require ironing, as wrinkles are part of the charm of linen. However, you can iron our linen clothes at a temperature of two points. Ironing should be done on the wrong side of the garment and preferably when the fabric is slightly damp. If necessary, the fabric can be moistened with a spray bottle.
Linen clothes should be stored by rolling, as rolling prevents the formation of wrinkles. Like many other materials, linen also fades in the sun. For this reason, linen clothes should be stored in a closet away from sunlight.
Linen sheets should be washed separately from other laundry. It is good to iron or iron linen sheets while they are still damp. Regular finishing after washing seals the surface of the fabric to better repel dirt and the shedding of extra fibers characteristic of linen is reduced.
Modified fibers
When washing products containing viscose or other modified fibers, such as modal and lyocell, it is recommended to use a delicate washing program and gentle washing instructions. Strong spinning is also not recommended. After washing, it is not good to leave the product wet in the machine, but immediately take it out to dry. In this way, washing lines do not form on the product.
Viscose usually shrinks 3-5% in the first wash. However, the product can be easily restored to its dimensions by ironing it while it is damp.
Velvet
Instead of frequent washings, you should freshen the velvet by airing it. However, if you want to wash a velvet garment, always check its Washing Instructions before washing. Turn the velvet garment inside out before washing to keep its surface beautiful.
The best way to get rid of wrinkles in velvet clothing is by gently steaming. Never iron velvet with an iron, as the heat and pressure of the iron can destroy the velvet's delicate fibers.

Quilted jackets
Please check the quilted jacket's care instructions on the washcloth before washing and ironing. When it comes to the surface of the jacket, you can easily remove the loose material with a clothes brush , and small stains can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. Our high-quality quilted jackets can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees with a delicate wash program. Close the buttons and snaps and turn the jacket inside out for washing. Wash the jacket in lukewarm water alone or with similar colors. Do not use fabric softener or bleach when washing. Never dry the jacket in the tumble dryer.
You can also iron our quilted jackets at the lowest temperature, one point. Ironing should be done from the wrong side of the jacket.
Top coats
Please always check the care instructions on the product's wash cloth. You can wash Nanso's top jackets at 30 degrees. Before washing, close the zippers, turn the jacket inside out and make sure that the jacket fits in the drum of the machine easily. The top should always be machine washed lightly, preferably on its own. If you decide to wash other textiles at the same time, choose only matching colors for washing. Use a mild, bleach-free detergent and avoid fabric softener.
Fluff the cotton after washing and carefully measure the actual jacket. Dry the jacket airily, for example by hanging it on a wide clothes hanger. Our high-quality top coats can also be ironed and tumble dried at the lowest temperature, one point.
Woolen coats
In order to maintain a neat shoulder line, even when storing woolen fabric, you should prefer a wide clothes hanger. Since wool has a natural ability to clean itself, it is recommended to freshen the wool jacket between uses by airing it. Loose dust and dirt can be easily cleaned with a clothes brush , and wrinkles can be easily removed with a gentle clothes steamer. Never iron a woolen jacket, as the heat and pressure of the iron can destroy the wool fibers. Also, don't use a tape brush for cleaning, because tape brushes release glue to the wool fibers. Stains should be removed by dry cleaning.
Easy maintenance
A well-kept garment will delight you for a long time. We want your Nanso clothes to stay beautiful from one use to another. This is why we have added high-quality clothing care products from Stockholm Steamery to our selection. Extending the life cycle of a garment has a significant environmental impact: emissions are reduced by up to 44% if the garment is worn twice as long instead of the average 160 times. An important environmental act is therefore to keep the clothes in use for as long as possible.
