Products that last and circulate

At Nanso, we see every product we produce as valuable. Circular economy and the longest possible lifespan of our products play an important role in our sustainability work. Circular economy thinking and consideration of recyclability starts at the design table: our products are designed to last both in terms of quality and time. In addition, when choosing materials, we take into account the recyclability of textiles.

Circular economy as part of planning

At Nanso, we want to take responsibility not only for the longevity and quality of the product, but also for what happens to our products after they are no longer in use. Considering the final recyclability of textiles is an important part of circular economy collection design. For this reason, we will increase the number of products made from mono-materials in the future and reduce the proportion of elastane in material blends.

Long service life with partners

Through our services, we support the longevity of our products and strive to prevent their unnecessary disposal. The purpose of our work with circular economy partners is to extend the life cycle of our clothes and slow down the rapid cycle of fashion. Our selection also includes high-quality clothing care products.

New Life Collection

The New Life collection gives Nanso clothing a new life through renovation. The collection consists of new and good-quality used clothing that has been returned to us, for example due to a small defect. The returned products are delivered to our partner Menddie for renovation, who repairs all products in Finland. After renovation, the products continue their journey to selected Nanso stores, where they are given a new life. Read more about the New Life collection here.

Warranty repairs

At Nanso, we see every product we produce as valuable. For this reason, we offer a warranty repair service for our products through Menddie. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, warranty repairs apply to products that have been in use for less than 12 months. The process is easy: the customer receives an activation code in their email, which they can use to send the product to be repaired free of charge via Matkahuolto to Menddie. Menddie repairs the product, and the repaired product is returned to the customer in about a week. Read more about warranty repairs for Nanso products here.

Nanso x Emmy

The purpose of the Emmy collaboration is to offer customers an easy way to recycle their old clothes while also reducing the environmental impact of the clothes throughout their life cycle.

After filling out an electronic sales slip, customers can bring their clothes that are going to be recycled to a Nanso store, from where they will be delivered to Emmy for sale. If desired, sales proceeds can be redeemed with Nanso gift cards, in which case Nanso offers a 10% increase on sales proceeds. The service is available in all Nanso stores.
