Nanso avaa maaliskuussa uuden myymälän Kamppiin

Nanso will open a new store in Kamppi in March

Nanso will open a new store in Kamppi in March - the renewed store concept was designed by the award-winning Studio Joanna Laajisto

Nanso still strongly believes in brick-and-mortar and plans to open several new stores alongside the revamped online store in the next few years. Nanso opens the first new store in Kamppi Helsinki. The renewed store concept was designed by Joanna Laajisto, who was selected as interior architect of the year 2018.

The new store concept crystallizes the renewed Nanso brand into a holistic experience. Neutral tones and genuine, coarse natural materials create a calm, earthy atmosphere where you can be inspired by Finnish design. Every detail is justified and carefully considered. For a beloved Finnish brand like Nanso, it was important to start the development of the store concept by talking to customers and listening to their wishes.

"The design of the new store concept is based on Nanso's core values and where Nanso comes from. In the space, an effort has been made to combine Nanso's long, nearly 100-year-old tradition with today's modern look and the customers' wishes." , describes Joanna Laajisto.

Authenticity and responsibility are important values for Nanso and they are reflected in the store's material choices. A lot of natural materials have been used in the new store, such as linen, wood and Loimaan Kive's striking, Finnish Mäntsälä red granite. Nanso is the first Finnish brand to bring 3D printed, biodegradable mannequins to the store. Joanna Laajisto has also designed a chair made by hand in Finland specifically for the concept.

"The Kamppi store is an important milestone for us, as our goal is to establish several new stores as part of a multi-channel strategy, where an inspiring chain of stores supports an always-available online store, and vice versa. During 2020, we will also develop the so-called omnichannel service concept, where the consumer is offered as seamless an experience as possible between online shopping and stores." , says Nanso Group CEO Antti Rönkkö.
