Is it safe to order from Nanso's online store?
In these exceptional times, it is only natural that our customers have many questions related to the online store and orders. We have gathered information from the authorities and our partners about how the coronavirus affects the shipments of our online store and how we have taken this into account in our own operations.
Nanso's packages are delivered by Posti, Matkahuolto and UPS. Shipments from the online store are packed at our warehouse in Pennala.
Is the coronavirus transmitted through packages?
The Department of Health and Welfare informs about the transmission of the corona virus COVID-19 from surfaces as follows:
"The new coronavirus is primarily transmitted by droplet and contact infection when a person coughs or sneezes. According to current information, the role of surfaces in the spread of the virus is not significant.
Even if the most sensitive laboratory methods could find the coronavirus on surfaces, this does not mean that the virus is effectively transmitted through surfaces. Conventional cleaning agents also work well against the coronavirus."
Shipments by Posti, Matkahuolto and UPS
Packages from Nanso's online store are delivered by Posti, Matkahuolto and UPS. We offer different delivery options in the online store: door-to-door delivery, delivery to vending machines and home delivery.
In its deliveries, Posti follows the instructions of the authorities:
- Contrary to normal practice, the shipment is not handed over to the recipient, but the Posti driver rings the doorbell and places the shipment in front of the door.
- The driver waits a few meters away until the customer receives the shipment.
- Posti also does not ask for a signature from the recipient, but the delivery is recorded by the driver in Posti's system.
- If the delivery to your home includes cash on delivery, the shipment will be directed to a Posti service point for collection.
- The employees of Posti's service and collection points do not take the customer's personal belongings, such as an identity card or mobile phone, into their own hands when they collect shipments.
- At the partners' service points, employees follow the service provider's instructions (to the extent that they are more specific than Posti's instructions).
Packaging of orders
Nanso's online store's dispatch office has invested in preventive measures. The number of disinfections has been increased and we make sure that people come to work healthy. As before, packages are handled carefully, gloves are in hand, and personnel have been instructed to take extra care of hand hygiene. The development of the situation is constantly monitored.
Is shopping online safe?
You can shop in our online store without worry. The connection between the Nanso online store and your computer is protected using SSL protection (Secure Sockets Layer). The SSL security policy protects communication so that an external observer cannot see or change your confidential information by monitoring the connection. The SSL security policy is trusted by e.g. Finnish online banks and countless other online services that require secure connections.

We deliver orders to mainland Finland and selected countries in Europe. Estimated delivery time is 1-4 business days in mainland Finland, unless otherwise stated. Delivery methods and times for foreign shipments vary by country. The delivery cost is added to your order at the online store checkout before paying. You will receive a delivery confirmation in your email when your order has left our warehouse.
