Let's stay at home and add color to the days
We live in extraordinary times. The empathy and warmth that people have shown each other these last days creates hope that we can get through everything, together.
Now it is important that we stay at home for the time being. In our own, Nan-like way, we wanted to come up with things to do for evenings at home.
Prints have been part of Nanso's story since the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. Pattern design is a Finnish strength and distinguishing factor, as well as a recognizable feature of Nanso's clothes for many.
What is interesting in pattern design is the designer's personal handprint and a certain combination of chance and systematicity. Good prints have airiness and relaxation in the composition, which makes the print look easy and natural. We are proud to be able to work with talented Finnish pattern designers, whose sketches made with different techniques create beautiful, unique prints of the seasons.
We have collected illustrations for you to color in the evenings. The illustrations are by Kaisu Sandberg and the prints shown in the illustrations are the works of Reetak Ek, Laura Gröndahl and Oona Mäkelä.
