New high-quality material: Pima cotton
You are definitely doing your biggest environmental act related to clothes when you buy high-quality clothes carefully, keep them for a long time and take care of them according to the instructions. A high-quality garment lasts in use and redeems the material and labor invested in it with its longevity. High-quality clothing can also be sold, donated or recycled when you no longer want to wear it yourself.
At Nanso, responsibility has been part of our values and practical operations for almost 100 years, and we approach responsibility holistically. It can be said that responsibility has always been one of our cornerstones, whether it's about personnel well-being, minimizing environmental impact, ethical procurement or safe products. We are constantly thinking of new ways to approach responsibility, and one big thing is the materials used in our collections. One approach to responsibility is a high-quality material that guarantees a long service life for the garment: this year, Pima cotton is the latest addition to the collection.
In the anniversary year, we wanted to introduce a new product from this wonderful material to the collection. Nanso's collection still includes products that were launched in the 1960s. What could represent our timeless and sustainable product philosophy better than a timeless, monochrome t-shirt.
Pima cotton is a higher quality cotton than normal basic cotton. Pima cotton has longer fibers and thanks to this very feature it is more durable, smoother and does not pill.
The PIMA t-shirt is now available in two lengths.
